Dekeyn is a new building on a quiet street between Square Ambiorix and the Chaussée de Louvain. One flat per floor from the ground up, and a two-bedroom duplex across the top two floors.
Every home has its own kitchen, its own bathroom and its own washer-dryer, and everyone shares a garden at the back. The rent covers everything from the electricity to the Wi-Fi to the weekly clean.

What is included in the rent at Dekeyn?
Everything except your groceries. The monthly price covers water, electricity, gas, Wi-Fi, insurance, local taxes, a smart TV, a weekly cleaning of your home, technical support and expat support. There are no separate charges.
What is the minimum rental period?
Three months. Dekeyn is designed for medium-term stays, so contracts run from three months upwards and can be extended.
Can I rent a single room in the duplex?
Yes. The duplex is let either whole or room by room. With a room you get your own bedroom with a working desk and your own digital key, and you share the living room, the kitchen, the bathroom and the laundry room with one other tenant.
Can I register my address at Dekeyn?
Yes. Domiciliation is possible, which means you can register with the commune of Saint-Josse-ten-Noode and obtain official residency in Belgium at this address.
How far is Dekeyn from the European institutions?
About thirteen minutes on foot to Schuman and the European Commission. Maelbeek station, on metro lines 1 and 5, is an eleven minute walk.
Are the homes furnished?
Fully. Each flat comes with a queen-size bed, a fully equipped kitchen with oven, fridge and freezer, a bathroom, a washer-dryer, a working desk and a smart TV. You arrive with a suitcase.
