Tenants climbing together: scaling the church walls at Maniak Padoue

Last Thursday around 7 pm, we gathered with our resident members for an exciting climbing event in Maniak Padoue. Our group was a diverse mix of international tenants staying in our apartments in Brussels, hailing from France, Greece, Colombia, Italy, Germany, and beyond. Before we embarked on our climbing journey, an instructor gathered us to explain the essentials and equip us with special climbing shoes. Laughter filled the room as we engaged in a toss game to form pairs, creating a dynamic mix of climbers, some of whom were neighbors who had previously only exchanged passing nods in the building’s corridors. The ice was broken, and a spirit of camaraderie enveloped us as we prepared to scale the breathtaking walls of Maniak Padoue.

As resident managers and owners, these events offer us a unique opportunity to connect with our tenants on a personal level. Giulia, one of our Colombian tenants, shared her positive experience with us, expressing appreciation for the smooth move-in process and the charm of her apartment in our Rezidentz Poelaert building. It was amusing to hear her gratitude extend to the technician who promptly fixed a toilet paper holder—proof that even the smallest gestures make a difference. The gym boasts a variety of climbing spaces, including a vast main hall with towering walls, zones tailored for beginners, a bouldering area, and even a section for youngsters. And after an exhilarating climb, climbers can unwind at the onsite bar, where plans for future events, including beer nights, are already in the works.
